Name.si presents domain names and coordinates inquiries and purchase steps for the operator’s own portfolio. Seller-platform memberships are not currently available for purchase.
What is being offered
A domain listing offers the domain name described, not a company, website, trademark or associated business unless a specific agreement expressly says otherwise. Availability and price must be confirmed in the transaction. A demo, launch-list signup or request for an email code does not reserve a domain or charge you. In card-first reservation checkout, selecting Verify email & pay explicitly completes the payment after successful email verification.
Agree before a transaction
Check the domain spelling, price, currency, inspection period and provider-fee allocation before confirming. Email verification establishes email control, not identity, creditworthiness or provider approval. The separate Verify email & pay action also confirms collection of the authorized card amount. Escrow.com may require its own identity checks and agreement. Only agree to terms you understand and are authorized to accept.
Payment and transfer
Domain purchases are completed through the displayed Escrow.com process. For an eligible card reservation, the card prepayment collected by Name.si is deducted once from the purchase price. For LTO it reduces only the first instalment; later instalments stay unchanged. The remaining balance is paid through Escrow.com under the agreed schedule. Escrow and holding fees for this LTO checkout are paid by the seller from proceeds, not added to the buyer’s purchase price. Follow that provider’s agreement, payment instructions, cancellation rules and dispute process. A transaction being created or a buyer reporting that payment was sent does not mean funds are secured. Domain transfer begins only after the necessary funding is confirmed by Escrow.com. Registrar restrictions and buyer cooperation can affect timing.
Card reservations
Eligible operator-owned listings offer a $199 Buy Now prepayment or an LTO prepayment of up to $199, capped at half the first instalment. Authorize the displayed amount first, then verify your email and explicitly select Verify email & pay on the same page. Confirmed payment starts the seven-day reservation. The amount is credited once toward your purchase; for LTO, against the first instalment only. The reservation payment is nonrefundable if you cancel or choose not to proceed. If the seller or Name.si cannot complete the purchase, you receive a full refund. Read the reservation, cancellation and refund policy before agreeing. The separate private Stripe test and Escrow sandbox charge no real money and reserve no domain.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse forms, impersonate another buyer, submit another person’s email without permission, attempt fraudulent payments, or interfere with the service. Use private account information and buyer communications only for their legitimate intended purpose.
Limits and consumer rights
We do not guarantee a sale, investment return, instant domain transfer, provider acceptance or uninterrupted access. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer rights or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. A third-party provider’s agreement governs its own services, not permission for Name.si to ignore its obligations.
