Name.si presents independently priced domain names and helps buyers contact the seller or begin a purchase through Escrow.com.
What you are buying
A domain name is an internet address. A sale covers the named domain and the rights specified in the agreed transaction—not a website, company, trademark, hosting plan or business revenue unless expressly included. Prices and available purchase options appear on each domain page; USD prices are in US dollars.
Presentation and portfolio tools
Name.si supplies domain landing pages, listing controls, buyer inquiries and portfolio tools. Seller administration remains sign-in protected. The current card-payment pilot is limited to the operator’s own portfolio; it is not a public service for collecting other sellers’ payments.
How buying works
- Choose a name.Review the actual domain, price and available purchase terms on its listing.
- Verify and confirm.Where offered, enter your email code and explicitly confirm the quoted terms. A code alone is not a purchase or payment.
- Complete Escrow’s process.Review and accept the provider’s agreement yourself, complete any required identity checks and follow its payment instructions.
- Transfer the domain.Transfer begins only after Escrow confirms the necessary funds are secured. Registrar locks, buyer cooperation and provider review can affect timing; no instant-transfer deadline is promised.
Payments and fulfillment
Escrow.com applies its own transaction agreement, payment methods, fees, inspection period, cancellation rules and dispute process. The seller and buyer complete the domain transfer under that agreement. A transaction being created—or a buyer saying payment was sent—is not confirmation that funds are secured.
Card prepayments
Eligible listings in the operator’s own portfolio offer a USD $199 Buy Now prepayment or an LTO prepayment up to $199, capped at half the first instalment. Authorize the displayed amount first, then verify your email and select Verify email & pay on the same page. Confirmed payment starts a seven-day reservation. For Buy Now, the amount is deducted once from the Escrow purchase balance. For LTO, it reduces only the first Escrow instalment; later instalments and the purchase total stay unchanged. The seller pays LTO Escrow and holding fees from proceeds. The reservation payment is nonrefundable if you cancel or choose not to proceed. If the seller or Name.si cannot complete the purchase, you receive a full refund. Review the credit, seven-day hold and refund policy before agreeing. The separate private sandbox charges no real money and reserves no domain.
